When we got a late-night call from the Co-Executive Director of Street Angels Milwaukee Outreach, their mobile shower trailer was sidelined due to a broken wheel bearing. Without it, dozens of unhoused individuals would go without a warm shower – something many of us take for granted.

We answered that call at 9:30 PM and immediately prioritized the repair. Why? Because some jobs aren’t just about fixing trailers – they’re about helping people.

"I am Co-Executive Director of Street Angels Milwaukee Outreach. We operate a mobile shower trailer to provide dignity and hope to our unhoused community. Unfortunately, one of our wheel bearings on the trailer broke after operations on Wednesday. On a whim and based on the Google reviews, I reached out to Shawn late Wednesday evening to see if this was something he could assist with. Not only did he answer my call at 9:30 PM, but he assured me that this was something he could assist with. He even shifted some of his workday to ensure that our outreach did not miss a beat. Shawn is very talented and was able to immediately fix the issue. We are excited to pursue a lasting relationship to have our trailer serviced and maintained by Shawn. THANK YOU so much!"
